Notes from It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue

Currently located at our Owensboro, KY location Meet Lee! Your New Best Friend Is Waiting! Lee is a sweet Retriever/Beagle mix looking for her forever home! At around 4 years old and 36 pounds, this girl is the perfect medium-sized companion. She’s a total Velcro dog who loves being close to her people and soaking up all the pets, cuddles, and affection she can get. Lee has a medium energy level, so she enjoys playtime but is also happy to relax and spend quality time with her favorite humans. She already knows “sit” and “shake,” gets along with other dogs, and is good with kids! She also did well on her cat test, though slow introductions are recommended. Lee can be a little nervous in new situations, so she’ll need a patient family willing to give her time to settle in and build confidence. She may also have occasional potty accidents as she adjusts to her new home and routine. With a little understanding and lots of love, Lee has so much potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate girl who will happily stick by your side, Lee might just be your perfect match! Give this sweet girl the loving forever home she deserves. Apply to adopt Lee at ITVrescue.org! All of our dogs are given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped and spayed or neutered.
