Notes from It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue
Currently located at our Evansville, IN location Meet Milford! If you’re looking for a big, sweet, easygoing gentleman, Milford may be your guy! Milford is a 7-year-old male Chocolate Lab weighing about 90 pounds, and he has the personality to match his big heart! He is a true gentleman who loves being around his people and is happiest when he can simply hang out alongside his humans. Milford is house-trained, crate-trained, and keeps his area clean. He is also easy to walk on a leash and has excellent house manners. His foster family quickly discovered that he is trustworthy enough to enjoy free roam of the house throughout the day and night. He is great with kids, including toddlers, and does well with other dogs. Milford is gentle, and very respectful. He loves belly rubs, ear scratches, snuggling on the couch or bed, and simply being in your company. He enjoys exploring, looking out the window, and—of course—food! Despite his age, Milford is still able to get himself up on the couch or bed for a good snuggle. He is constantly wagging his tail and seems to be one happy boy! Milford is also a smart guy and has figured out how to open a gate latch, so his new family will want to make sure he can’t outsmart their gates! If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, big-hearted companion who is ready to be part of a family, Milford is waiting to meet you! Apply to adopt Milford at ITVrescue.org! All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.
