Notes from It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue

Currently located at our Owensboro, KY location Dozer is Ready for His Forever Home! Meet Dozer, one of our longest residents, who has been patiently waiting for his perfect family since 10/29/25. This sweet boy is estimated to have been born in May 2025, making him just over a year old and ready to start the next chapter of his life. At around 45 pounds, Dozer is the perfect medium-sized companion. This handsome Terrier mix previously spent time in a foster home, where he was reported to be housebroken and a wonderful house guest. About Dozer: Gets along well with other dogs Cat-selective Walks nicely on a leash Previously lived successfully in a foster home and was reported to be housebroken Loves adventures but can get car sick Kid compatibility is currently unknownDozer has so much love to give and would thrive in a home where he can finally settle in and be part of a family. Shelter life is hard on dogs, especially when they've been waiting as long as he has. Every day that passes is another day this wonderful boy spends hoping someone will choose him. Bonus: Dozer's adoption fee is sponsored, making it even easier to bring this deserving boy home!
