Notes from Save A Dog Rescue

Meet Cody — our adorable lowrider with a long body, short legs, and a huge personality. Cody is approx 2 years old and around 35 lbs, with that classic lowslung, longbacked build that makes him extra cute and instantly lovable. He’s expressive, peopleoriented, has a calm personality, and is happiest when he’s right next to his person. Cody’s personality:Cody is deeply affectionate and loves to sit on your lap, lean into you, and be your little shadow. He’s friendly with other dogs, but he is possessive of his person — he does not like to share his human’s lap or attention. Adoption Criteria:• Fully fencedin yard (no invisible fences)• Children 7 years of age or older• Someone home more during the day — he thrives on companionship and routine• No crating — use a baby gate if he needs to be safely containedCody is ready for a home where he can finally have what he’s always wanted: his very own person to love, protect, and stay close to. He will make a devoted, affectionate companion for someone who wants a dog with heart, personality, and endless love to give. A $40 refundable deposit is required once your application is approved to hold this dog or schedule a meetandgreet. This helps us respect the time and commitment of our foster families and volunteers. The deposit is applied to the adoption fee or fully refunded if you attend your appointment and decide not to adopt. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $195. Cody is being fostered in Fort Wayne, Indiana
