Notes from Wish Bone Canine Rescue
Meet Dave from Accounting, a 6-year-old Doodle mix weighing in at 62 pounds.
Dave has arrived for his performance review, and we're pleased to report that he's a very good boy with excellent treat-based motivation and at least a working knowledge of the word "sit." His attitude? Outstanding. His teamwork? TBD. His ability to ignore unnecessary workplace noise? Exceeds expectations.
This happy-go-lucky gentleman recently walked past a chorus of barking dogs without giving them so much as a courtesy glance. While everyone else was busy scheduling emergency meetings about absolutely nothing, Dave had places to be and spreadsheets to ignore. We haven't officially introduced him to the other dogs in our care yet, so his compatibility with canine coworkers is still under review.
Dave is friendly, appreciates a good snack, and takes his professional appearance very seriously. Just look at that tie. This man didn't come here to play office politics. He came here to secure the corner office, negotiate a competitive treat package, and remind everyone that "per my last belly rub" is a perfectly acceptable workplace phrase.
Are you ready to add some serious fluff to your org chart? Dave is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Family Member, with benefits including belly rubs, snacks, and unlimited opportunities to tell him he's a good boy.
No accounting degree required. Must be willing to pay in treats.
His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
