Notes from Starfish Animal Rescue
“I was a girl in the village doin’ alright, then I became a princess overnight!” Princess Sofia is enjoying her new life of luxury and is working very hard on perfecting household manners. She is doing very well with potty training and is currently crate trained and sleeping through the night. She was born around June 6 and currentlly weighs about 11 lbs. This will make her very likely a 30-35 lb full grown dog. During the daytime, she doesn’t want to miss a thing and will follow you everywhere. She has lots of puppy energy and would do best in a home with a dog sibling to run around the yard with and/or an active owner. She is great with kids and dogs but, in true puppy fashion, she needs reminders about chewing and biting, so she will do best with a family who is understanding of this and able to offer lots of enrichment and encouragement. After a day full of playing, she will snuggle right up next to you and fall fast asleep.
The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip,
age-appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm, and any other necessary medical treatment to ensure
a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe the breed, since our pups all come from shelters, we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed!
*Please note that we are a foster home-based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.
