Notes from Animal Education and Rescue

Halo must have a guardian angel. This young, sweet German Shepherd mix was rescued from euthanasia in the absolute nick of time, and he is determined to make the most of his second chance! He is currently living in a fun foster home where he is thriving alongside kids and other dogs. Halo is a total social butterfly who absolutely loves meeting new people, balancing his playful energy with a deeply snuggly side. He walks beautifully on a leash and is happily learning what it truly feels like to be part of a loving family. Halo is officially ready to find his forever home—can you put a "woof" over his head?_________________________________________________________________________Adoption Donation for Halo is $ 525.00WANT TO MEET HaloThe first step would be for you to go to our website at www.aear.org and then to the “Adopting a Pet” page to read about our Adoption Process which will answer many of your questions and then to fill out an Adoption Application. What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Education and Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Education and Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
