Notes from Foster 2 Home

She is very affectionate Noemi is incredibly smart and trainable, learns very quickly Enjoys playing fetch Would do well with a large fenced in yard (6ft recommended) as she likes to run and jump Noemi needs structure and activities as her breeds (Blue Heeler & Belgian Malinois) thrive on it She is good with other dogs at home, but can be reactive on walks and (as a 6mth old) needs further training Another young dog at home would be great for her She likes to follow and will likely bond with a specific family member A younger adopter who is ok with an active dog or a family with other dogs highly recommended

What happens next

  1. Contact Foster 2 Home using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Foster 2 Home, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
