Notes from Wish Bone Canine Rescue

Meet Smidge, a 10/10 snugglebug with a serious appreciation for the finer things in life: belly rubs, sunshine, car rides, pup cups, and a good couch nap.

This 3-year-old Micro Bully weighs about 42 pounds and is happiest when he’s right by your side. Smidge loves following his people around and soaking up all the attention he can get. Give him a sunny spot to lounge in and he’ll happily spend the day there, but he’s always up for a leisurely lap around the block with you, too. He’s not exactly an adventure dog when exercise is involved, but he is down for a car ride and pup cup.

Smidge is a true homebody. He’d be thrilled to spend his days hanging out with his favorite person, then settling in for a cozy nap while you binge-watch your latest show or play video games.

Smidge needs to be the only dog in his forever home so he can keep all the love and attention to himself. And with his adorable little lower-teeth smile, his love of snuggles, and his easygoing approach to life, we think he makes a pretty convincing case.

The best news? Smidge's entire adoption fee, including the McLean County rabies registration fee, has been fully sponsored! His forever family gets to take home this lovable little homebody without an adoption fee.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
