Notes from German Shepherd Rescue INC

Meet Schnapps, an 8 year old German Shepherd weighing in at 112 pounds! He is looking for his forever home after being picked up as a stray. Schnapps needs to lose weight, so is looking for an owner that will commit to slow walks and diet management. Schnapps has some arthritis which is currently managed with supplements and pain meds, however, losing some of those unwanted pounds will surely help this big guy!

Schnapps is the perfect companion, a dog that likes cuddling on the couch, protecting the home, or playing fetch in the yard. The only thing Schnapps loves more than playing with his toys is being with his family. Schnapps is a vocal boy at times, letting you know when he is nearby!

If you're looking for a silly pup who would be a good companion, Schnapps is your guy!
