Notes from Pet Adoption League of Gem County

Meet Akoya!

This beautiful 4 year old pup is the ultimate adventure buddy and loyal companion, always eager to be by your side. She is high energy, loves to run and play, and is very treat motivated. Her desire to learn and eager to please attitude make training sessions both fun and rewarding.

Akoya will thrive in an active home with plenty of outdoor space to run around, but at the end of the day, she is a true indoor companion who loves lounging inside with her people. She gets along well with other dogs, though she does chase small animals and will do best in a home without indoor cats.

Whether you are looking for a dedicated hiking partner or a loving friend for life, Akoya is ready to be your loyal sidekick!

All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter.

Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.

Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.
