Notes from Pet Adoption League of Gem County
Meet Goofy!
This handsome 3 year old guy with a striking black and white coat is a sweet, loyal, and affectionate companion. At 85 pounds, he looks like a big gentle giant and loves nothing more than standing tall for greetings and rolling over for belly rubs.
Goofy is a great balance of active and relaxed. He enjoys getting out for walks to explore beyond the shelter grounds and has a wonderfully chill side indoors. When hanging out in the office, he is content to lounge around, greet visitors warmly, and calmly observe the office cat going about his day.
He is house trained, has a history of doing great with other dogs, and thrives with a confident handler who enjoys an active lifestyle. Whether he is joining you for outdoor adventures or curling up as the ultimate oversized lap dog, Goofy is ready to be your most loyal friend.
Come on out and meet this awesome guy today!
All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter.
Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.
Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.
