Notes from Pet Adoption League of Gem County
Meet Sherlock!
At 6 months old and already around 50 pounds, this handsome guy is a sweet, smart, and adventurous pup ready for his next chapter. He is a wonderful blend of clever working breeds and comes equipped with a great foundation, already knowing sit and down!
Sherlock is the ultimate partner for fun, whether he is going for car rides, playing a game of fetch, or heading out on outdoor adventures. He gets along well with other dogs, though his working instincts mean he shows a lot of herding curiosity toward cats. Because he is still young and learning boundaries, he will do best in a home without cats or with dog savvy cats who can handle an enthusiastic pup.
If you are looking for a loyal, active, and eager to learn companion, submit an application to adopt Sherlock today!
All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter.
Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.
Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.
