Notes from Newnan-Coweta Humane Society

Meet Hunny! 🐾🍯

Hunny is a beautiful 3-year-old girl who is settling in wonderfully at NCHS after her family made the difficult decision to surrender her. This tall, lanky lady has quickly won us over with her happy personality and adventurous spirit!

Hunny walks nicely on a leash and is working hard on her door manners. Her previous owner shared that she can climb a chain-link fence, which makes us wonder if there might be some Treeing Walker Coonhound in her family tree. One thing is certain—this girl loves to explore and is always ready for her next adventure. That being said, do be aware of her high prey drive towards squirrels and small critters.

Full of energy and enthusiasm, Hunny would thrive with an active family. She would love to join you for hikes, car rides, neighborhood walks, and playtime with kids and other (not small) dogs. With her curious nature and zest for life, she'll need a secure space and plenty of opportunities to stretch her legs and explore the world around her.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who will keep you smiling and make every day an adventure, Hunny may be the perfect match for you
