Kobe

Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie (medium coat) · Young (3 years 8 months) · Male · Small · Locust Grove, GA

Notes from Street Paws

Kobe is a young Yorkshire Terrier who was surrendered in October of 2026. Kobe is a friendly small terrier that will be the ideal companion to an individual or family. Kobe, like most young terriers, will need a stimulating environment for his curious nature. An adopter providing that environment will be rewarded with a companion that will happily be by your side, with an occasional departure to investigate an errant sound or smell detected close by.

This dog is located at The Humane Society and SPCA of Clayton County, Inc. also referred to as CCHS.

Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Jonesboro, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances.

To apply to adopt, please complete the Pre-adoption application at the following URL:

https://form.jotform.com/261346698133160

Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family.

As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Clayton County Humane Society.

Dog adoption fees range from $250 to $400. Each dog receives:

Age-appropriate vaccinations

Spay or neuter surgery

Heartworm testing and treatment, if necessary

Deworming

Flea prevention

A microchip registered to the adopter

You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet. For additional information, please email info@streetpaws.org.

What happens next

  1. Contact Street Paws using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Street Paws, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
