Notes from New Rattitude, Inc.

Hello, my name is Poppy. I weigh around 18 lbs., and my foster family thinks I am only 1-2 years old! When I first got to my foster home, I was afraid of many things and very shy, but I am learning that life is not so scary. My foster family has many words to describe me: goofy, playful, enthusiastic, loving, snuggly, and very sweet. And did I mention I'm house-trained? I also sleep quietly in my crate at night, although I would love sleeping in bed with my humans just as much.

I am still not comfortable walking on a leash, and I startle at loud noises, so my forever home will need a fenced yard so I can show off my house-training. I would also love another confident younger dog to help me continue learning to be my best self. I am learning to keep all four paws on the ground when I get excited, which means I probably shouldn't go to a family with small children – I might knock them over with my long legs.

My foster family is so proud of me for the progress I have made, and I am looking forward to a forever family who can be patient with my training! In the meantime, I am perfectly Poppy. You can see more of my photos at this link: https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/poppy
