Notes from Doggie Harmony

Sterling would make a good adventure buddy and active companion. He does have some obedience training and is friendly woth people and dogs. He does like to jump when excited which is being worked on but may scare a small child on accident. Good with the farm animals and can be cat tested upon request.

Stray pickup with a broken tail, had tail amputated which is why he is docked.

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.

What happens next

  1. Contact Doggie Harmony using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Doggie Harmony, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
