Potato Chip
Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed · Adult · Male · Medium · Roswell, GA
Notes from Barkville Dog Rescue
Meet adoptable boy Chip! Born in 2025, and weighing about 46 lbs, this sweet young Lab/Pittie mix is already proving what a smart, eager-to-please little guy, he is! Since arriving in his foster home, Chip has been soaking up everything he can learn. He is fully crate trained (loves his crate!), is nearly fully house trained, and working hard on his leash skills.
Chip absolutely loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a playful canine companion in his forever home. He would do best with older kids, as he is still learning that when he gets excited, jumping up isn't the best way to say hello. He is food motivated and eager to please, which makes him a fun puppy to train. He'll also be starting basic obedience classes soon, so he's already on his way to becoming an excellent canine citizen!
While Chip can be a little cautious at times, give him some time to build confidence and his adventurous side comes shining through. Once he feels comfortable, he's ready to explore, play, run, and have fun! He loves chewing on his bones, romping around with his friends, and then settling in for some serious cuddles with his people.
Chip is happy, affectionate, playful, and full of puppy charm. He's looking for a family who will continue his training, give him plenty of opportunities to play and explore, and help him grow into the wonderful adult dog he's destined to be. Chip is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you're interested in adopting this deserving boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications.
