Notes from Doggie Harmony

Winnie & Rocky were surrendered to Canine Crusaders when their owner required emergency medical treatment and could no longer care for them. They are in boarding and urgently need a foster or adopter. They are currently in boarding in Woodstock, GA.

Rocky has arthritis and has some resource guarding. He would do best in a home with someone experienced in caring for multiple dogs and older kids who will respect his boundaries. A home that will welcome both Winnie & Rocky together.

For allergies, Rocky is on Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein

Age: 9 years

Weight: 85 lbs

Temperament: Gets along with other dogs, older respectful kids

Training: Housetrained, crate-trained, has some basic training

Vetting: neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative

Email for questions: jessiesfosters@gmail.com

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit.

What happens next

  1. Contact Doggie Harmony using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Doggie Harmony, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
