Notes from Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption, Inc.

A SUPER SWEET GUY: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 31 lbs.

Hi, I'm Butters! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am enjoying my time with the nice volunteers, who spend time with and take great care of me—they are so much fun to hang out with! Now I hear that I'm ready to find a wonderful family of my very own, where I can love and be loved furever! I was adopted for about 10 days, but it wasn't a good match so I'm back with Mostly Mutts, looking for my people. I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot!

• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I am doing well with the dogs I've met in the off-site training program as it's a calmer environment than the shelter is. The shelter can be a bit too much for me with other dogs, so if you have a nice dog at home, let's meet. My trainer will show you how to introduce me to other dogs. / Cats unknown. / I think that kids 15+ would be the best fit for me as I can be mouthy/nippy when hyper playing and was a bit too much for younger kids in my temporary adoptive home.

• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a friendly, fun, happy boy who is as sweet as can be! I'm playful, inquisitive, and full of tail wags, and the volunteers say I'm one of the happiest boys around. I was so good for my bath and even rolled around on my towel afterward to help dry myself off—why wait when you can do it yourself I love to cuddle in your lap, spoon and nuzzle into your shoulder. I'm a playful guy with lots of personality and love to share! / Energy level: 5-7.

• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts University training program, so I've learned the 'sit', 'stay', 'down', 'come', 'drop it', 'leave it' and 'place' commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. Let's continue my training as there are more classes I can take through the free lifetime training that Mostly Mutts offers for their rescue dogs. / I'm doing pretty well in my crate at Mostly Mutts, though sometimes I come out quickly as I'm ready to spend time with and have fun with the volunteers. I did well with my crate manners in my temp. adoptive home. / My potty manners were good at the offsite training program and I did well in my temp. adoptive home.

• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love toys and treats, and I enjoy doing lots of fun things with the nice volunteers! Going for walks is another favorite thing, and afterwards, I'm happy to slow down and cuddle with my person on the bench out front. I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we like doing together once I'm in my new home! / I can't think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.

• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.

I'm a wonderful guy looking for a wonderful family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
