Notes from A Welcome Home Animal Rescue

VERY SAD OUTLOOK FOR SWEET LUNA -- Can you please help?!

FOSTER HOME OR TRIAL ADOPTION NEED NOW! RESUSE WILL SUPPORT ANY AND ALL NEEDS, FOOD, SUPPLIES, VET NEEDS. HEALTH GUARANTEED!

LUNA WAS ASDOPTED AT A SMALL PUPPY, LIVED 6 YEARS WITH THE SAME FAMILY. She is a GENTLE sensitive soul.

LUNA , a super sweet, pretty hound/pit bull mix, a gentle girl (easy TO keep) was a special project of our rescue. We worked hard over three months to help the elderly man and his family find a new place for Luna. We had no luck. THEN A surprise to THE RESCUE that the family GAVE up and now she is in DeKalb County AS OF SEPTEMPER 28 ...AND NOT DOING WELL. AT RISK OF euthanasia, , if a home cannot be found! She has become stressed, EVEN THROUGH SO SWEET WHEN WE SAW HER. We MEET her yesterday (Oct. 18) and she was as sweet and gentle as ever. But VERY WEARY and wants out.

Needs a DeKalb Foster or Forever Home. Sweet dog, always a family dog,

She is gentle, sweet, gentle, always a sweet pensive "want to please" look on her sweet face, bonds quickly, takes treats gently, and not a dog to jump on you. She lived with older dog. Likes to Ride int the car and BONED to her sweet older owner who has to give her up.

The elderly owner in his eighties owner (grandfather with family in home) had been looking for months, contacting all rescues and shelters, for a new home for Luna because there is not room, and saddened but finally took her DeKalb AS, where Luna will eventually be euthanized.

POSITIVE: She is a great with small kids. She is housetrained, walks well on a leash, listens, looks lovingly in your eyes, (Rescue saw that in person). She is Not large at 50 pounds, so easy to KEEP! Timid and sweet, gentle.

❤️ About Luna

Approximately 50 pounds VERY well housetrained Smart and sweet - Learns tricks quickly - BONDS quickly!! Lives peacefully with another older dog Walked several times a day Friendly and deserving of a chance On Heartworm Prevention/Heartworm negative/Flea meds/all vaccines current Looking for a foster, foster-to-adopt, or permanent home

Luna isn't a problem dog. She's simply a victim of circumstances. With so many homeless dogs needing help, it's easy for wonderful dogs like Luna to be overlooked—but she deserves the opportunity to have a future. Always a trial basis!
