Pure
Husky / Australian Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat) · Adult (2 years 1 month) · Female · Large · Locust Grove, GA
Notes from Street Paws
Pure is a beautiful Australian Shepherd husky mix. She is a big girl with a big smile! She loves laying in the morning sun and playing with squeaky toys (mainly to get that squeaker out!). She is very loving with people, loves to cuddle, and get belly rubs. Although a little anxious around other dogs, she does tolerate them. Come see if Pure could be your next running companion!
Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Jonesboro, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances.
To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family.
As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Clayton County Humane Society.
Dog adoption fees range from $250 to $400. Each dog receives:
Age-appropriate vaccinations
Spay or neuter surgery
Heartworm testing and treatment, if necessary
Deworming
Flea prevention
A microchip registered to the adopter
You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet. For additional information, please email info@streetpaws.org.

What happens next
- Contact Street Paws using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Street Paws, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
