Notes from Doggie Harmony

Meet Butch — A Big Puppy with an Even Bigger Heart

Butch had a rough start. He was part of a surprise litter that was being given away when a rescuer stepped in and gave him the safe haven he deserved.

Now 1 year old and 60–65 pounds, Butch is still very much a puppy at heart. He’s looking for a family who can provide the consistency, structure, patience, and plenty of love he needs to grow into a confident, well-rounded adult dog.

In return, you’ll get a devoted companion who loves being part of the family. Butch gets along with other dogs, adults, and bigger, sturdy kids. He’s already housetrained and crate-trained, too.

Butch is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative.

What happens next

  1. Contact Doggie Harmony using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Doggie Harmony, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
