Notes from Homeward Bound Pet Rescue Inc. of Gilmer County

Meet Kite! A bright, high-energy young girl who was sadly abandoned as a baby, Kite has spent the beginning of her life in our care—but a shelter is no place for a spirit this young and full of potential. Thankfully, she is now thriving in a foster home where she is finally getting the chance to just be a dog. Every day she grows more confident, more joyful, and more herself. Kite is wonderful with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. She’s smart, eager to please, and already knows basic commands—especially when treats are involved (she’s more than happy to show off a few tricks for a snack!). She also has excellent house manners and has fit beautifully into home life. What makes Kite extra special is her heart. She has never met a stranger and greets the world with open, happy enthusiasm. Whether it’s a new person or a new adventure, Kite is ready to say yes. She is a fun, affectionate, active girl who would thrive in a home that can keep up with her energy and continue guiding her as she grows. Kite is ready to leave her past behind and soar into the future she deserves. Could that future be with you? Her adoption fee is $300.~~If you are interested in this animal, you can complete the questionnaire found on the available pets page of our website http://hbpr.org.
