Notes from Caloosa Humane Society
🐾💜 Meet Luna! 💜🐾
Some dogs have a way of touching your heart the moment you meet them... and Luna is one of them.
This beautiful female Catahoula Leopard Dog has been patiently waiting at the shelter since May 4, 2026, hoping someone will see just how special she is.
Luna is currently heartworm positive and receiving treatment. Once her treatment is complete, she will be spayed and ready to begin the next chapter of her life.
Despite her challenges, Luna doesn't let them define her. She has limited hearing and is blind in one eye, but she still loves what matters most—gentle pets, ear scratches, and spending time with people who show her kindness. ❤️
✨ Luna's highlights: 🐶 Beautiful Catahoula Leopard Dog ❤️ Affectionate and gentle 🤲 Loves pets and scratches 🌟 Resilient and full of love 🏡 Ready for someone to see beyond her imperfections
Luna has so much love left to give. She isn't looking for a perfect home—just a family willing to love a truly perfect soul.
Could you be the one to give Luna the happy ending she's been waiting for? Come meet this sweet girl and let her steal your heart. 🐾💕
