Notes from Caloosa Humane Society

Do you remember Shania? Sadly, she remembers the shelter.

This beautiful 3-year-old girl was owner surrendered through no fault of her own and found herself back at the place she once called temporary home. 💔

The good news? The staff who knew and loved her were still here. They welcomed her back with open arms, and Shania was so happy to see familiar faces. But what she really wants isn't another stay at the shelter... She wants a family.

Shania is a sweet girl who can be a little shy at first, but once she settles in, her loving personality begins to shine. ✨

She enjoys: 🐾 Going for walks 🎾 Playing with toys 💕 Cuddling with her favorite people 🌞 Spending time outdoors ❤️ Being loved

At just over 3 years old, Shania has so much life and love left to give. She deserves a home where she'll never have to wonder if she's staying or leaving again.

After spending 386 days at the shelter, Shania knows what it's like to wait. She's been patient, hopeful, and kind through it all.

Now she's hoping someone sees beyond her shy smile and realizes she's been waiting almost a year for her second chance. 🥹

🌸 Shania isn't looking for perfection. She's looking for commitment. She's looking for love. She's looking for home.

Could that be with you?
