Notes from Adopt Citrus County Animal Shelter Pets
I am a female, tan Mixed Breed mix. Age: The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old. More Info: I have been at the shelter since Oct 25, 2026.A smile like that deserves someone to come home to. Meet Honey! With her warm tan coat, pink nose, and face full of happiness, Honey makes quite an introduction. And her name suits her—this sweet, friendly girl enjoys showing off her happy, playful side. At 3 years and 8 months old, Honey is ready for a family to share walks, playtime, and all the everyday moments that make a dog part of your life. She appears to be social with other dogs and was traveling with another dog when she was found. If you have a pup who might enjoy a companion, ask about a meet-and-greet! Come spend some time with Honey and get to know the girl behind that wonderful smile. Let’s give her a reason to keep smiling—all the way home. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated. She weighs 54 pounds. Come meet her at Citrus County Animal Services, 4030 S. Airport Rd., Inverness, FLTuesday–Saturday, 10am–5pm (closed 1–2pm)Extended hours Thursday until 7pmHoney • ID# 52350100
