Notes from Marion County Animal Services

Meet Ginger! Ginger is a sweet girl who is learning that people can be pretty great. She has been making wonderful progress with staff and volunteers and is calm and easy to walk on leash. She’s also comfortable with gentle handling, including having her head and feet touched. Ginger may need a little time to warm up and decompress, but once she settles in, her curious and softer personality starts to shine. She enjoys exploring her surroundings and is becoming more comfortable with the people caring for her. Ginger would do best as the only pet, or with an experienced adopter who can provide structure, supervision, and thoughtful introductions. If you’re looking for a girl who is making progress and ready for someone willing to give her the time she needs, Ginger may be your girl!
