Notes from Humane Society of Broward County

WATCH MY VIDEO...Meet Spot, a precious 5-year-old Boxer mix who deserves a forever home as much as any dog ever could. Back in 2022, Spot walked out of our shelter with a family he believed would be his forever family. We can only imagine how happy he must have been to finally have a home of his own. But now, heartbreakingly, Spot is back with us because his family no longer has time for him. It makes your heart break in two, especially when you meet this wonderful boy and see just how much love he has to give. Spot may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and you'll soon discover the sweet, affectionate dog hiding behind that initial hesitation. He's friendly, adores attention, and is ready to make a connection with someone who will give him the chance to feel safe and loved again. He's also a pretty good walking companion! He may pull a little on the leash, but he's doing well overall, and he appears to be housebroken, too. Spot has already lost a home he thought was his forever. Now, he needs someone who understands that bringing a dog into your life is a commitment through the good times and the challenging ones. He just needs a family that will make room for him in their hearts and never give up on him. This precious boy deserves to unpack his bags for the very last time. Can you give Spot the loving home he's been waiting for, where he'll be cherished, included, and loved for the rest of his life? Let's make sure his next chapter is the forever ending he's always deserved.
