WATCH MY VIDEO...Meet Cocoa! Two Years Old and Ready to Party! Cocoa is an adorable 2-year-old brindle pup with a big personality, lots of energy and a serious love for having fun! She was returned to us because she had “too much energy,” and we have a little tip for everyone considering a young dog: Two-year-old dogs come with ENERGY! And Cocoa has plenty to share! Her previous family told us she is a great dog, and we can see why. Cocoa is wonderful with adults, good with kids 8 and older, and enjoys the company of other dogs. In fact, rough-and-tumble play is her favorite! She would do best with a dog her own size or larger who enjoys playing just as hard as she does. Because of her high prey drive and energetic play style, she should not live with cats or smaller animals. Cocoa is a busy girl who likes to keep life interesting. She loves chewing on rope toys, enjoys treats (especially fruits and veggies), and is VERY vocal when she has something to say. Her new family should be ready to keep her body and brain busy with exercise, playtime, training and enrichment. She would benefit from additional leash training and, as she does tend to pull on the leash. Cocoa has a softer side, too. She absolutely loves belly rubs and is happy to soak up affection from her people. Cocoa isn't looking for a family who wants a couch potato. She wants a family who will embrace her energy, give her plenty to do and enjoy watching her goofy, playful personality shine. If you're ready for a fun, active companion who will keep you laughing, moving and occasionally wondering, “Where did she get THAT much energy?” Cocoa may be your girl!
