Notes from Lil Rascals Dog Rescue

Meet Chico Meeko! Chico is a 1-year-old, 10-lb Chihuahua mix with a big personality! He’s affectionate, loves cuddling, training, going on adventures, or just chilling with his human. Chico is crate trained and working on potty training but wears a belly band without issue. He finished up a board and train where he kicked booty and took names, learning how to heel on leash, place/stay, and recall. Chico is a super playful kiddo both with people and dogs, he also doesn’t mind a kitty friend or two! He loves toys and picks out several from the toy box. Like most dogs, Chico would do best eating in his crate away from any furry family members as he would prefer not to share his meals. He’s nervous of thunderstorms but if you can be his thunderstorm buddy he would take on any storm as long as he’s by your side. Chico would thrive in an adult-only home (or with older kids if the home has kids) where he will receive structure and routine. Chico is a fun, affectionate little guy looking for a family who will continue his training, give him structure, and keep up with his playful personality.
