Notes from Lil Rascals Dog Rescue

Meet Sheldon!

Sheldon has never met a lap he didn’t want to climb into or a person he didn’t want to be near. This boy loves attention and is happiest when he’s right by your side.

Born on June 27, 2026, to Pennie, an incredibly sweet Irish Setter mix, Sheldon is playful, affectionate, and always looking for his next bit of fun. He loves cuddles, playing with his toys, and being included in whatever his people are doing. He’s the kind of puppy who will keep you laughing with his antics and then happily settle in for some one-on-one affection.

Sheldon is still a young puppy learning the ropes, so his new family should be prepared for potty training, continued socialization, positive-reinforcement training, and teaching him good manners. Raising a puppy takes patience, consistency, time, energy, and plenty of love, but it’s also incredibly rewarding to watch them grow, learn, and develop into the dog they’re meant to be.

Sheldon is being fostered in the Orlando area and will be adopted with a spay/neuter addendum.

If you live in Florida and want a puppy who will keep you company, keep you entertained, and make sure he gets his fair share of attention, Sheldon could be the one for you. Complete an adoption application today and tell us about yourself!
