SMOKE

Meet Smoke, Your Next Adventure Buddy! Smoke may be around four years old, but he has the playful spirit of a puppy and enough personality to keep life interesting! This handsome boy loves people, outdoor adventures, walks, and, perhaps most of all, playing with the garden hose. He knows his basic commands, including sit, down, stay, and paw, and he is both crate-trained and well-mannered in the house. He walks beautifully on leash without pulling and has been wonderfully calm around the people, dogs, bikes, and even neighborhood cats he has encountered. Smoke also has a sweet, cuddly side and is happiest when he can curl up beside you for belly rubs or simply hang out and be part of the family. Smoke is an intelligent, observant boy who is always taking in the world around him. He once alerted his foster family to a hidden hornets’ nest near the backyard fence, showing just how closely he pays attention to his surroundings! He enjoys having a job to do, whether that means sniffing out hidden treats, working on food puzzles, or learning new ways to play. He has plenty of energy and benefits from regular walks and activities to keep his mind and body busy. He is also working on his enthusiasm for digging in the yard, which has improved with extra exercise and engagement. Smoke is a wonderful combination of adventure buddy and affectionate companion, and he would love a home where he can explore, learn, play, and then settle in close to his favorite people.
