Approximate Weight: 10 lbs

Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: SC SHELTER. Frosty needs a foster or forever home to come to the DC area!

Special adoption considerations: Because Frosty is shy, he needs to go to a home with a resident dog who will show him the ropes!

FROSTY is Looking For: Hi there! I’m Frosty. I haven’t had the easiest start in life, but someone told me I’m a Lucky Dog now. Does that mean I finally get to make some wishes? It does? Wonderful—because I’ve been saving up a few!

My biggest wish is for a loving, patient family who will give me the time and reassurance I need to feel safe. I’m shy right now, so I also need a welcoming resident dog who can show me the ropes, help me build my confidence and teach me how wonderful life in a home can be.

I dream of becoming my happiest, smartest and goofiest self. I can already picture it: strolling through the neighborhood on sniffy walks, sporting a beautifully groomed, fluffy coat and showing off my stylish white socks like the dapper little gentleman I am! I already walk pretty well on a leash, and I would love patient humans who will help me explore at my own pace and discover that the world doesn’t have to be so scary.

I need some extra TLC right now, but just imagine the joy of watching this shy little snowball melt into a happy, confident companion. What do you say? Will you make Frosty’s wishes come true?

What My Foster Says About Me: We will update when Frosty has spent time in foster! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
