BOONY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: BOONY Best Guess for Breed: Yorkie/Miniature Poodle Mix Best Guess for Age: 3 years old as of Oct 2026 SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 8.4 lbs

Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: Shelter. Looking for foster or forever home!!!

Special adoption considerations: Because Boony is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes.

Boony is Looking For: A loving home where this tiny sweetheart can feel safe, settle in and let her personality bloom! Boony can come off shy at first, but once she warms up, you'll fall in love with her sweet personality and adorable eyes. She needs patient adopters committed to consistent socialization and training who will give her time to adjust, gently introduce her to new people and experiences, and celebrate every little confidence-building victory. Boony is good with other dogs, and a friendly, confident resident dog in the home is required to help show her the ropes and reassure her that she is safe. Boony’s coat will require consistent care to avoid the painful mats she arrived at the shelter with. Her family must commit to thorough brushing at home and regular professional grooming so she remains comfortable and mat-free. She is still working on walking on a leash.

With kindness, patience and a canine companion by her side, Boony is ready to discover just how wonderful life in a loving home can be. What do you say? Does this sweet little girl have a place in your home and your heart?
