BRUTUS NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Brutus Best Guess for Breed: Lab/Shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 1 year as of Oct. 2026 SEX: Male

Approximate Weight: 47.8lbs as of 10/21

Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter; needs DC area foster or forever home

Brutus is Looking For: His forever home! This handsome boy landed in the shelter through no fault of his own. Now he's looking for his own humans to trot alongside on those sniffy walks and adventures - he wants to burn all that awesome dog energy! Making new pup pals along and having plenty of opportunity to run and play is on his wish list along with quality kibble and a cushy dog bed.

But above all he wants to know where he belongs, to be under his own roof, to be safe and loved. In exchange, he promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Can you see him by your side?

What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
