What My Foster Says About Me:

Willowy is such a silly, sweet dog! She LOVES other dogs and wags her tail at lightning speed for each new dog who comes into the dog park. She’s calm with new people and likes to investigate each one and will take pets and head scratches from everyone. When she’s done romping around the park, she finds a corner to sit in and calmly observes all the activity. She’s startled easily by sudden noises but she’s gaining confidence in the city by the day. At home she’s been very well-behaved - she trots around the house watching me and her foster sibling and then curls up somewhere cozy. When I’m working from home, her favorite spot is under my desk keeping my feet warm. She’s quiet in her crate and has been good with dog-savvy kids at the park and at events.

She has not been well socialized with new people and has lived her whole life with other dogs. New nosies, cars, bikes, and other things may create fear and anxiety. She will need a patient adopter who can give her time to come out of her shell and learn that the world is a wonderful and welcoming place. And because she is shy, she needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.

TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog .
