Notes from Dog Star Rescue
Finding yourself in rescue is always a good thing but being born into rescue, aside from being born into a loving family, is a blessing. Taurasi and her brother, Ray Allen benefited from such a situation. They started out being loved and cared for and their journey will continue to provide wonderful things. They are 3-month-old hound mix pups looking forward to their bright future. Taurasi is 10 pounds and we know that growing is in her future. It is estimated that she will be a medium-size dog ranging from 30 to 60 pounds. She will be the right size to share a sofa and even a bed. No matter what size she becomes she will always fit into the heart of her family members. Her likes are on a long list of fun, exciting and entertaining activities. Taurasi is ready to mingle with her fully puppy spirit and energy. She enjoys the company of other dogs, children and adults. There is no limit to her love. She has not had the opportunity to meet a cat since coming into rescue. The joy of puppyhood is nothing short of exciting, fun, challenging and demanding. In the end, the process is always rewarding, and Taurasi will grow to be a wonderful canine companion. Her skill set is in progress as she works on learning her house, crate and leash training. She is young so she will need time and direction to help her along the way. Life is full a mystery and surprises. Taurasi is a little bit of both. Welcome her into your world and find everything you have been looking for and more. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Taurasi is $600. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us. If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
