Notes from Dog Star Rescue
Roxs is ready to find his home and be your love bug. He was found as a stray out in the middle of nowhere. Luckily, he found help that brought him right into rescue. He soaks up attention and loves resting his head in your hands or your lap. Roxs is a Plott hound mix at 1 year of age and around 30 pounds. He is not expected to get much bigger but is considered a medium-size dog. He is laid-back, calm and quiet. Roxs gets along fine with other dogs but would rather nap than join group play. He has a confident personality and not shy at all. He does have a lower energy level so he would not mind watching life from the sidelines. He is also good with children and adults, but he has not been introduced to a cat since coming into rescue. A laid-back love bug of a dog pretty much describes Roxs. He enjoys the comfort of life with having company, love and attention every minute of the day. All dogs benefit from exercise and Roxs is no exception. Daily walks will help him improve and master his leash walking skills. He will enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells along the way. Plus, the added bonus is to meet more friends along the way. he is also working on his house and crate training which are works in progress at this time. Roxs has that melt your heart personality. He is longing for a home to call his own. After finding his way out of life on the streets, he is looking for a peaceful home and quiet adoration from his one and only forever family. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Roxs is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
