Notes from The Little Guild of St. Francis

Wave hello to Moose! He is our new handsome, energetic deaf puppy. He is completely deaf so we have been working with him using hand signals which he picks up on very well. You’ll have your hands full with all his puppy energy and zest for life, but he can also be so calm and sweet. He loves to lay out in the grass while you give him all the love and pets, then he’s ready to get back to his adventures. He seems like he would love to play with other dogs and we are hoping to get him in a play group soon. He loves to investigate the woods on his hikes and is always happy to go for a nice walk. Moose is a very special little guy looking for his new forever home and he would absolutely love to meet you!

FREE OBEDIENCE TRAINING IS OFFERED WITH ALL DOG ADOPTIONS

Please note that we are often asked if dogs are "house trained". The dogs are in fact living in a kennel environment during their time with us. Even if they have previously lived in a home and been trained - the stress of the change and the new home can sometimes cause regression and require some additional training. We feel that it's best for all adopters to be prepared for this possibility.
