Notes from Colorado Corgis and Friends

Ruby is a sweet, affectionate 3-year-old mixed-breed shortie girl weighing around 37 lbs. She’s friendly, playful, and loves being close to her people! She’s a little shadow who enjoys following her humans around, cuddling, and getting lots of attention.

Ruby is generally calm and quiet indoors but also has a playful, energetic side. She loves running around the yard, relaxing in the sunshine, and sniffing her way through walks.

Ruby is potty trained and does well with a regular routine. She’s been friendly and somewhat submissive with other dogs, though she can get excited and may do best with dogs who aren’t overly rowdy and closer to her size. Cats and kids are unknown but she should be ok with kids 10+ due to her sweet demeanor.

She’s still learning some manners, including not jumping on people and furniture, and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training and/or a basic manners class.

Ruby has lots of love to give and would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of affection, companionship, and playtime. If you are interested in meeting Ruby, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Ruby is spayed, utd on vax, chipped, and HW-. Her adoption fee is $350 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.
