Meet Bear!
Bear is a sweet and cuddly boy with the potential to be an amazing companion for the right person. He is fearful of new people and places but warms up quickly with a little patience and encouragement. He LOVES other dogs of all sizes and is working on coming out of his shell more with the support of his dog friends.
While neighborhood walks can be overwhelming for him, he enjoys and quiet nature hike and walks well on a leash or long line. He has great recall and is good in a crate. He does well with potty training with an age appropriate schedule and supervision.
Bear would thrive in a quiet household with a patient owner who can give him the time to work through his fear with gentle encouragement. He would be happy to accompany his human on camping and hiking trips if given the right support.
