Scout is a very sweet and affectionate 1.5-year-old neutered male pittie mix.

He is a total lover and snuggle bug with his humans, loves attention, and wants to be a lap dog.

He knows his basic commands, is totally potty trained and crate trained. He walks well on a leash with a no-pull harness. He loves to hike and go for rides in the car. He loves his toys, especially a good game of tug-o-war in the mornings. When he is outside, he has lots of energy but knows that inside is meant for chillaxing.

He is good with cats, kids, and chickens BUT needs to be an ONLY dog! He and my German Shepherd are not getting along, and that’s the only reason we are trying to find him the perfect home as an only dog.

What happens next

  1. Contact Evergreen Animal Protective League using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Evergreen Animal Protective League, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
