Amber

Amber spent the first six years of her life in the home she knew as forever, alongside her brother and another furry sibling. Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn, and Mom had to make the incredibly difficult decision to bring Amber and her siblings back to us. Her other two siblings have found their families, but sweet Amber is still waiting. And honestly… Amber is a little different. She isn't going to be the dog who comes barreling across the room, jumps into your lap and immediately starts covering your face with kisses. That's just not Amber. She's the quiet girl sitting back and taking it all in. Watching. Observing. And secretly hoping that maybe, just maybe, you're the person who will pick her. Once Amber gets comfortable, you get to see the really special side of her. She's incredibly sweet, gentle and loyal, and she loves simply being near her people. She's the kind of dog who will quietly become your constant companion without ever needing to be the center of attention. Amber has such a calming nature, which is one of the reasons she would do wonderfully with older children. She's also great with other dogs and would love having a furry friend around. She's crate trained, house trained and honestly a pretty low-maintenance girl. A home with a yard would be ideal for her. Amber may not be the dog who steals your attention the moment you walk through the door. But she just might be the dog who steals your heart once you take the time to really get to know her. She has been waiting for someone to look past her shyness and see the wonderful girl underneath. Maybe that someone is you. She is a Chihuahua mix, playful and would do best with a furry playmate friend. She will need a fenced yard. Her adoption fee is $375 which includes spay, microchipped and vaccination.
