Yancey

, a 2-year-old Pit Bull mix boy who is one handsome little cookie, dressed in a magnificent brown brindle coat swirled like cookies and cream, complete with the cutest little white sockies on his perfect tiny toes! This boy is definitely NOT a couch potato - he’s an active, adventurous sweetheart who would thrive with a family ready to keep him moving, exploring, and having fun! Luckily, Yancey isn’t picky about what adventure looks like: he loves wading in the pool, romping around with people, and playing with other pups, because this social butterfly seems to make friends everywhere he goes. He’s a smart cookie, too - he may have tried to plot an escape from the play yard, but he listens well and comes when called; he could use a little leash-work refresher to help manage his excitement, but otherwise, he’s an absolute gem! ❤️ And what’s the quickest way to win this boy’s heart? BELLY RUBS, of course! If you’re looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Yancey is ready to jump into your life!

- 2 year old brown brindle Pit Bull mix

-54 pound neutered male

-may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before going home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this!

-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 10/1/26 as an internal transfer from another shelter - we’re hoping this sweet boy gets the new exposure he needs to find his furever family

-lively, fun, and full of energy, this darling needs an active family to keep him on his toes, burning off his abundance of energy with plenty of exercise and enrichment - he may even be a great candidate for agility training

-very friendly and social with other pups, so could make an excellent little brother to other pups you may already have!

-the key to his heart is lots and lots of belly rubs - he loves affection and will give it back tenfold
