RUMI

#A5803279 Meet Rumi , a beautiful 4-year-old Akita mix girl with a gorgeous striped dark brindle coat and soft cream accents on her chin, chest, and legs, as if she’s been dipped halfway in white chocolate! It’s clear this sweet girl may not have had the easiest life, with what appear to be old scars on her face, and the shelter environment has left her feeling scared and unsure, often hiding in the back of her kennel. But give Rumi a little time and patience, and you’ll start to see her soft, loving spirit peek through as she slowly begins to feel safe. ❤️ This girl has so much love she wants to share - she just needs someone willing to help her rebuild her confidence and show her that the world can be a kind place, too. Come take a chance on this diamond in the rough, and you may just discover the most loyal, loving furever companion you could ever ask for!

-4 year old brown brindle and white Akita mix

-66 pound spayed female

-may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before she can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this!

-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 9/28/26 as a stray

-timid and shut down in her kennel, this sweet girl starts to show off her true personality once she has a chance to decompress and feel safe and confident with you

-fiercely loyal breed, just needs a family that will finally treat her with the love and kindness she deserves
