Notes from United Hope for Animals

A5802069 Baby has spent enough of her life being a mom—now it's her turn to be someone's baby. This beautiful 5-year-old Bulldog mix was reportedly used for breeding before being abandoned, and now she's in need of a loving home. Despite everything, volunteers describe Baby as a confident, playful girl with a strong spirit and plenty of life left to enjoy. She's ready to leave her past behind and find someone who will finally put her first.

-5-year-old American Bulldog mix with a blue coat

-Spayed female weighing 48 pounds

-Microchipped and ready to go home

-Currently sick and needs care

-Medium energy; playful, confident, and alert

-Needs some work on leash manners

-Shows signs of being housebroken

-Interested in other dogs; compatibility not formally assessed

-Owner surrendered; landlord-related

What happens next

  1. Contact United Hope for Animals using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to United Hope for Animals, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
