ELLEN

A5801782 Ellen is a beautiful, gentle girl with a soft cream coat and adorable pointy ears. At just 2 years old, this sweet Carolina Dog / German Shepherd mix has already been through a lot, but she hasn't lost her willingness to connect. Volunteers noticed how she leaned in for affection, even resting against their legs while they wrote notes about her. Ellen has a calm, curious nature and was wonderfully tolerant of other dogs during playgroup, preferring to explore peacefully rather than join in the roughhousing. She's a little underweight and has a facial scar, reminders that life hasn't always been easy for her. What Ellen needs now is a gentle hand, a little extra nourishment, and someone who will show her just how good life can be when you're loved.
