Notes from United Hope for Animals

A5800902 Say hello to Sgt Flint , a 1-year-old Queensland Heeler mix with movie-star good looks and a whole lot of potential! This sleek, regal little boy has the strong, sturdy build of a Rottie and the smarts, agility, and go-go-go spirit of a Heeler. His unique tricolor coat is mostly dark black and brown, with the most adorable little cream spots on his feet - as if he dipped his toes in brindle paint before deciding his black coat was just too handsome to cover up! Sgt. Flint would make a fantastic exercise or adventure buddy for an active person or family who loves getting outside and keeping busy. He’ll thrive with plenty of physical exercise, mental enrichment, and opportunities to put that clever brain to work. If you’re looking for a handsome young sidekick who’s ready to take on the world by your side, Sgt. Flint is ready to report for duty!

-1 year 1 month old tricolor Queensland Heeler mix

-53 pound neutered male

-may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this!

-came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 10/1/26 as an internal transfer from another shelter

-perfect mix of his two breeds - sturdy and strong but agile and athletic, with a super sharp mind

-happy go lucky personality, just a joyful little man!

-excellent adventure buddy, ready to tag along on runs, hikes, or even just romps in the yard

-good on leash, potty trained, generally good w/ other dogs (could maybe use a little polishing of his manners), and knows basic commands like sit
