Notes from Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Group
Foster or forever home wanted, meet Hercules!!
If dogs could talk, we're sure Hercules would have a story to tell. Luckily for him, a lady was out late at night on October 4th doing her daily ritual of TNR (trap and release) of cats in Los Angeles. She happened upon Hercules tied to a fence on such a short lead, he was unable to move or sit down. Being an animal loving person, she reached out to friends who happen to be involved in dog rescue, and they reached out to us to see if we could take him on and try to find him a forever home.
As soon as we saw this handsome boy and heard his story, we put a plan in place to bring him to safety. Hercules was neutered, microchipped and vaccinated prior to heading to boarding. This young man is estimated to be a little over a year old and very friendly with everyone he meets.
Being in boarding doesn't give us a lot of insight into a dog's temperament or training so we are still getting to know him. All the people that have handled him to date state he is very sweet and dog friendly.
If you are interested in meeting Hercules, please head over to labradorsandfriends.org to fill out an application. Hercules is located in Southern California.
